NOVEMBER 2008 APPEARANCE ON GENERICON CONFIRMED Hey Anime geeks in East Coast! Superfortress is confirmed to perform at Genericon w/Echostream in Troy, NY, in January 2009. It's gonna be 3 days event, and I'm attending Saturday & Sunday hanging out w/Echostream kids, signing autographs and selling merchandise... do the all typical band thing. I'm bringing in CDs, stickers, and Superfortress T-shirt & poster are now on the way! So if you are around upstate New York area, or able to drive up to Albuny, get ready! OCTOBER 2008 BACK FROM TOKYO, JPN! Sorry I've been out of touch... I had a awesome time in Tokyoland, but at the same time my mom was sick, and got hospitalized. So I had to help her & do lots of housekeeping stuff. Anyhow my mom got much better now, and I'm back in NYC. Meanwhile I took hundreds of photos, had meetings with interesting industry people, and simply don't know which story to start. JULY 2008 VIDEO AIRED ON JBTV CHICAGO!! Once again JBTV, Chicago's legendary independent music program aired the video "New Day" on the July 4th weekend!! Lemmeknow if anyone in the area caught it! JUNE 2008 OFFICER GRUND PLAYING FOR THE FORTRESS Another show at Knitting Factory Tap Bar, and another show without a drummer, but another show with officer Grund on Keyboard! You can see some photos on myspace page. MAY 2008 "CANDY APPLE II" EP RELEASED! Now available on CD Baby & iTunes. Once again collage radios are catching up! More reports coming up soon. APRIL 2008 DOUBLE KNITTING FACTORY LIVE!? This is crazy. 2 days after 4/1 show, I asked to play at Knitting Factory again. But this time downstaires, Tap Bar. I decided to do a "Solo-Electro Set," so I'm not gonna repeat the same thing twice. SeeYa! MARCH 2008 EP IS DONE! OPEN UP FOR GIL MANTERA'S PARTY DREAM 4/1! Finally the EP "Candy Apple II" is done, and it's on the production line at CD manufacture. AND we will open up for Gil Mantera's Party Dream & Services at Knting Factory on 4/1! I know I've been caught up with many other things last year, but yeah FINALLY i'm very close to finish the EP, and guess what, a great producer Bill Racine (Rogue Wave, Mates of State, Hopewell & The Flaming Lips) has mixed one of the song. I know I did the "last Luna gig" on late January, but they are managing to hang on to it until the very last "eviction" moment....
